- $20 per page for the basic proofreading. This includes fixing spelling mistakes, typos and grammatical errors.
- $40 per page for the more in-depth copy editing. In addition to the proofreading tasks listed above, this includes recommending revisions in style, content and organization to make your writing more effective.
To determine costs, 500 words is considered one page. (That’s a typical word count for a single-spaced Microsoft Word document.) There is a minimum charge of $40 per job.
